OUR STORY.
iQ Metal Solutions was founded out of the growing need for high-quality, cost efficient metal fabricators in the West Michigan area. Our sister company, iQ Labs, has been manufacturing and fabricating laboratory furniture since 1957 and from this comes our expertise in metal cutting, forming and welding. As our laboratory division grew, so did our need for precision fabricated metal components and assemblies. Over the years we have invested heavily in our manufacturing capabilities, as well as engineering and design. We continue our long manufacturing history by making sure we do what is right by our stakeholders and customers. Quality work and trusting relationships were the virtues on which we were founded, and we haven’t wavered a bit since.

With our foundation set, we began manufacturing laser cut seating inserts and have since expanded to several other industries including, material handling, medical, agricultural, and industrial equipment.

In 2021 we moved from Muskegon, MI to Byron Center, MI into a new manufacturing facility giving us a more efficient space and better access to strategic suppliers and shipping lanes.
